Christmas may be over, but there is still New Years left this holiday season. I hope everyone had a great time celebrating this past week! A lot of people don’t necessarily know what to do for the New Year, so I gathered some events to share that might help.
Kidspace Museum is hosting “Noon Year” for the younger children who can’t make it to midnight. There is live music and a balloon drop from 10am-3pm. Children will also have the chance to make party hats and noise makers! This costs 13.00 per person.
This one is interesting…At Pretend City, kids will have the chance to celebrate the New Year in Bangladesh, Dubai, Athens and London. It will be hosted at 11am, 12pm, 3pm and 4pm. Kids here will also can create hats and their own noise makers. It costs 12.50 per person.
Grand Park during New Year’s Eve is a family friendly event held from 8pm to 1am. It will have a photo booth, two music stages, and 3D video mapping on two sides of city hall. There will be dozens of food vendors too! The cost of this event is free (that must be why 50,000 people are expected to attend!)
The Zimmer Museum will also have balloon drops AND party accessories. The honor 2018, these drops will be held at 11:18, 12:18, 1:18, 2:18 and 3:18 pm. The good one about this one is that it is the cheapest at 7.50.
Some of these events sound more fun than the typical “adult” NYE celebrations…haha! Looking forward to seeing everyone in 2018!
Happy New Year!
