At Integra Escrow, we love to show our support for all of the families that we work with. This weekend, we will be at an event called “Ante Up for Autism” held by the Talk about Curing Autism organization. This event mixes my love for poker and the support to help families affected by autism. There will also be Auctions for prizes suck as a Prius or a Clipper Suite. Celebrities will be going and some professional poker players. I cannot wait to attend!
TACA’s mission is to aim to speed up the cycle time from diagnosis to effective treatments. They help strengthen the autism community by connection families and professionals who can help them lead to a better quality of life for families affected by autism. About 1 in every 68 children are being diagnosed with autism and it is considered a national emergency. Approximately 180 people are diagnosed with autism every day in the U.S.!
Tickets are available to everyone, however they are a little bit pricey. Please remember that some of the proceeds will go directly to helping these families. I am sure if you go, you will enjoy your time there! If anyone decides to attend, please comment below and let me know how it goes. I would love to see you there! Thanks for your support!
It is time to get a little bit Spooky! With Halloween coming up, I decided to dig up some recipes that would be great during a costume party. I have never used these before, but they look like fun! If anyone decides to make this witches brew, Please be sure to invite me to the party ;)
September and October of this year have been hard months for everyone across the world. Yet another tragedy has struck California with wildfires. Northern California has a group of 21 fires that are still burning, with little containment. The weather in this area is making it hard for firefighters to battle this fire. So far, the fires have killed 31 people making it one of the most deadly fires in the state. This is devastating, especially after coming from one of the most deadly mass shootings in modern history.
If you would like to help those that have been affected, here are a few things you can do:

We never think anything bad can happen to us, but the reality of it is we never know. We live our lives day by day, move by move. We can methodically plan or outline the way we would like our lives to be and it can all change in an instant. We live through our happy moments and our devastating moments. Through our happy moments is when we enjoy life with others. Through our devastating moments is when we learn and come together as humans. In my opinion, these are the things that makes a life worth living.
October 1st 2017 is when yet another tragedy happened. As everyone knows, Route 91 Harvest Festival was attacked by a gunman in the 32nd floor of Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada. Thousands of people were enjoying their time at a concert when all of a sudden, 58 people were killed and hundreds injured. Seeing the aftermath of this event (and all other tragic events) is always devastating. It is heartbreaking to even fathom the amount of pain and suffering of all families involved. At this point, I am not sure what I can say to uplift spirits. All I can say is take your time to heal and do what is best for you in order to be okay.
I had learned yesterday that one of my colleagues was a victim in this tradegy. In hopes to help his family heal, there has been a gofundme page created. Please see the link below if you would like to donate.
