It’s finally 2018! I know we say this every year, but 2017 went by so fast. It was a great year for us at Integra Escrow and we are hoping that 2018 is just as nice to us! With the new year, comes new goals. Last year, I made it a point to not eat any meat, poultry or seafood. I successfully did that, and I feel a lot healthier! I am proud that I was able to accomplish this goal for myself, and I am hoping that I can accomplish more to better myself. I was thinking that maybe if I write down monthly goals to better myself, that it will become easier for me…and I think that it would be nice to share to see if we can do this together!
January: Drink More Water!!
February: Make Breakfast my biggest meal since that is what keeps me energized during the day.
March: GET MORE SLEEP AND STAY OFF ANY ELECTRONICS WHILE TRYING TO SLEEP! This one is especially hard for me.
April: Keep a detailed food journal. This helps me also keep track of what kind of vitamins I may be missing in my diet.
May: Increase my daily walking length.
June: Eat more veggies than fruit.
July: Portion Control! Another hard one…
August: Give up desserts. Everyone knows I love my chocolate!
September: Find a workout buddy. Although, I am not sure about this one. They may be a distraction LOL
October: Savor my meals. It takes someone’s brain 20 minutes to recognize fullness, so I figure its best to eat slower.
November: Live without social media this month to focus on the people around me and what is currently happening.
December: Cheat month!!!! With the holidays around, I think that it would be okay to indulge or maybe go a day without exercise.
I know some of these goals are harder than others, but I hope that everyone can achieve what they really want to in 2018. If you have any other goals that you’d like to share, please leave comments below! I would love to hear them…maybe even set them as mine :)
